Kara Sherman is an American, currently living Florida. A self taught artist, she has been painting since childhood and has spent most of her career taking contract art projects. Works from her private collection have appeared in Florida and Virginia art shows during the past 13 years, winning several awards.
Kara’s desire is that each of her paintings capture the hearts and imaginations of each observer, drawing them in, inspiring a dormant passion to re-ignite, urging them to write their own stories within her paintings.
Kara loves acrylics, watercolors and oils. Her signature style is acrylic paint on watercolor paper.
Over the years Kara’s style has evolved from photo realism to a more playful approach with the brush.
