Artists Display

I am not an artist, but I do have art I want to sell, can I use Artists Display?
I’m afraid not, this site is for artists to promote their art / website. I do allow artists to add a PayPal “Buy Now” button to their art page,  but I do not recommend it.

Do you offer a refund, if the art is damaged?
Each artist on this site has his / her own Terms and Conditions, I would advise anyone buying art to first check with the Artist what their T&C are. I myself never get to handle the art.

I am an artist with my own web site, can you put my link on your site?
Yes, I offer  Free link exchange, and Free website promoting, I would suggest adding your art to Artists Display, and linking back to your own site.

Can I manage and change my own art display on your site?
At the moment your account is setup by me, and I will make the changes, but in the near future I will be setting up accounts that will be completely manageable by the artist

Do you charge a commission on anything sold on your site?
No, the artist get’s 100% of what they sell… I never get to see what is sold, that is between you and the artist.

Can I display my art on your site, but sell it from my own site?
Definitely, and this is what I highly recommend.  I will link your art to any web site, or blog, so you, and only you have full reign over the selling of your art.

How can I have my art added to your site?
This is by far the most asked question, so I have put together a page on the various ways this can be  done. Please visit THIS PAGE

If I really want to sell my stuff on your site, can I do it?
There are 3 ways you can sell your art on / through Artists Display, it’s very important you fully understand these procedures:

  1. Add a PayPal button that links directly to your PayPal account: If you have a PayPal account, you can create “Encrypted” Buy Now buttons, we will need the encrypted code to be able to add your “Buy Now” button to your Artists Display profile.
  2. Sell through Artists Display Account: When someone chooses to purchase your art, they will do so through our account, you will be notified, and you must then “Request” a PayPal payment from Artists Display for the full amount of the art, once you have received the payment from us, you can proceed with sending the goods to the buyer. Please note that in this case you will pay ALL the PayPal costs, so in some cases you might want to add the costs to the total price of the art.
  3. Link to your own web site / blog (recommended)
Link all inquiries back to your web site and / or Blog, and deal directly with the customer. This is our preferred method, because it does not involve any 3rd party people, you deal directly with your customer.

I sent an Email to Artists Display, but never got a reply, why?
I guarantee you, that I reply to every Email I receive, usually within 24 hours. The problem is almost certain that the Email ends up in your Spam bin, or gets filtered by your host. The best thing you can do, is add Artists Display to the “Friends” list, this way it will not get flagged.
